Through Service

Finding where your deepest gladness meets the needs of the world...

These are some way that we serve God...

With-in the Church

First Impressions -

Our first impressions team knows the value of feeling welcome, when you enter into a new environment.  They are a friendly group of people.  And they are willing to help you find your way around.  You can ask them any questions about the church, and they will be happy to assist.

Coffee Center -

This team might be more appropriately named the hospitality center.  They have plenty of treats for young and old.  Their satisfaction comes in the smile on your face while you delve into a sweet pastry or delicious muffin.   Oh, and the coffee is great too!

Set Up and Tear Down Teams    -

If you like early mornings, or if you like getting your hands dirty, then you would love one of these 2 teams.  Without these teams, well frankly we couldn’t do church.  They set everything up, and then after service a whole new group tears everything down and loads it up into our trailer.

Kid Village Workers -

At The Village Christian Church kids are very important.  We want our kids to understand that church can be a fun and exciting place, where you learn about God, and meet a ton of cool people.  Our Kid Village Workers do a great job of providing this type of atmosphere, and they love what they do!

Worship Team -

Life change through worship is what this group is after.  They feel so strongly that worshipping God is a vital part of our relationship with God.  And they desperately want you to be able to enter into this experience with them.  They are hoping that as you respond to God’s love with singing, He will open your heart and mind to life change that is euphoric!

In the Community

Food Trucks -

As often as we can, we do food truck drives in the area.  We give out around a thousand pounds of food to about 200 people for free! This is such rewarding experience, and as a church we love doing it.

Coat Drives -

We also collect coats every fall for those who could really use them in the winter time.  This drive has continued to grow every year that we have done it.  It’s such a simple thing, but it helps so many in need.
