We are living in hard times and many families are struggling to make ends meet. As a church, we want to be here to help our communities and the people. That is why The Village is partnering with Northern Illinois Food Bank and will host a Mobile Food Pantry at the Seneca Grade School, South Campus located at 410 South Main Street in Seneca, IL, on Monday June 14, 5 pm.
Families in the Seneca and surrounding communities will be able to get enough groceries (bread, dairy, meats, veggies) for a week or two.
Distribution will be first come first served. There is no registration, proof of income or I.D. required.
**Update** Previously, the Mobile Food Pantries have been drive-thru style to follow protocols for Covid. Starting with this Mobile Food Pantry, people will be able to get out of their cars and stand in line (socially distanced) to receive the food. Remember to bring boxes, carts or coolers to put your food in.
If you would like to volunteer, contact Patrick Erzinger. Volunteers will arrive at 4 pm.
Note: Everyone’s health is our top priority. We will be adhering to safety precautions during the distribution process.
