Our discussions usually take off from the Sunday messages, which provide us with food for thought throughout the week. We talk about things that helps us grow, understand ourselves, and face life’s challenges. But what really stands out is how we catch up on each other’s weeks. Re|engage Marriage Experience

Re|Engage marriage experience meeting at The Village Christian Church

Re|engage is currently in session for winter 2025. The next Re/Engage group will tentatively begin meeting in winter of 2026. Stay tuned for more information.   Every marriage has room for improvement. Re|engage gives you a safe place to work on your relationship together, regardless of whether your marriage needs saving or you just want to take it from “good” to “great”. During this 12-week marriage experience, couples will come together to learn about God’s design for marriage. The group learns how to apply biblical principles like extending grace and forgiveness, embracing humility and growing in intimacy. This group will equip you to build a healthy marriage. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET THERE? The night starts with everyone meeting together for a game and introduction. Then you’ll break into small groups to dive deeper into understanding how to live a Christ-centered marriage. The discussion will be based on the week’s reading, which is usually 3-4 pages. And we’ll have snacks! HOW MUCH DOES RE|ENGAGE COST? $50 per couple is required to cover operating expenses and a workbook for you and your spouse. Please let us know if the cost may be prohibiting you from investing in your marriage. We’re here to help. IS THERE CHILDCARE? Yes! $5 per child weekly / $10 family maximum weekly. Please arrive a few minutes early for the drop-off process. Childcare registration is required to make sure we have enough childcare providers. Sign up for childcare when you register for Re/Engage. DO we need to be married? Yes. Re|engage is specifically designed for married couples who want to enhance or restore their marriage. This is not for engaged couples, couples living together outside of marriage, or for couples who are dating. DOES MY SPOUSE NEED TO ATTEND WITH ME? Yes, your spouse needs to attend with you. This experience is designed for couples to work through together. One of us is not a believer in Christ. Can we still participate? Yes. We see couples where one spouse is a believer, but the other is not or isn’t quite sure. While couples who both have a firm foundation with God at the center of their marriage tend to have the most success with re|engage, we have found that all married couples can improve communication and learn how to enrich their marriage through re|engage. Can same-sex couples attend? No. This experience is designed to honor the sacred union between a man and a woman as outlined in the scriptures. Based on our church’s convictions and interpretation of scripture, we believe that marriage is between one man and one woman for a lifelong commitment. WHAT DO COUPLES HAVE TO SAY ABOUT RE|ENGAGE AFTER THE EXPERIENCE? We cannot say enough about this experience; it truly changed our lives and marriage. Before re|engage, we were struggling. We had so much love, but couldn’t figure things out. God showered us with blessings throughout re|engage. Bible-based strategies and tremendous support from our group put us on a path to freedom. This experience is unmatched. Thankful for all we learned and the new friends we made. God is SO GOOD! – Sarah & Chuy WHAT If I have more questions? Email Charlie Pierce.
